Connecticut woman, 43, killed in Solon snowmobile crash
Michelle Pavia of Stamford, Connecticut, was not wearing a helmet Saturday night when she hit the shoreline, was ejected from her snowmobile and struck trees surrounding Ironbound Pond in Solon. Pavia died at the scene.

Lead exposure from ammunition blamed for spate of ill bald eagles

Madison-Skowhegan firefighters and game wardens rescue trapped deer
Firefighters from Madison and Skowhegan were dispatched to the scene 200 yards off Weston Avenue in Madison where they deployed firefighter Brad Bosworth with Skowhegan's Rescue Alive sled to retrieve the deer.
