Norridgewock man arrested following Oakland police chase, confrontation with officer, police say
Christopher Abbot, 31, is facing six charges stemming from the chase and altercation Thursday in which the officer twice used a Taser in an effort to subdue Abbot, according to police.

Despite concerns as temperatures plummeted last weekend, officials say Norridgewock dogs are fine
Town officials have expressed concern for more than 40 dogs kept outside a Depot Street house, most of them living outside, but the officials say the animals appear to be in good health and had “legally adequate” shelter when temperatures plummeted to about minus 20 degrees.
