Skowhegan-area school officials propose $41.8 million school budget, an increase of 7.5%
The superintendent of MSAD 54 said the proposed spending increase is driven in part by a large bond payment that must be made for construction of a $75 million new school, but officials expect little impact from that payment on residents’ tax bills.

Skowhegan gives preliminary approval for ATV use on some town roads
