Thornton Academy is this week’s biggest riser; Medomak and Marshwood back in the top 10.

This fall’s slate includes rivalry games, state title rematches and Maine-New Hampshire showdowns.

Each of these players had individual success that begat team success, making them the best of the best.

The senior wrapped his high school wrestling odyssey, which has taken him from Hawaii to Missouri to Maine, with his first Class A title.

Our list of the state’s top performers include five seniors, one junior and four sophomores.

Johnson becomes the second Travis Roy winner for Thornton Academy and just the third goalie since the award’s inception in 1996.

Drew Johnson, Marc-Andre Peron, Wyatt Labonte, Brandon White and Sam Foley are in the running of Class A hockey’s top honor.
