Residents will consider updates to five ordinances and whether to raise money for future leap year celebrations Saturday at Town Meeting.

Polls will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 18, with the business portion of Town Meeting set for 1 p.m. March 19 at the Center for All Seasons.

Town Meeting is delayed until March 28 to allow more time for the budget to be finished, but elections for three town positions and a school board seat still will be held Monday.

The proposed ordinance is one of two the town is considering adopting in a referendum Friday; and on Saturday at the Town Meeting, residents also will consider the future of the former town office.

Residents will vote on a 39-article warrant and will pick people to fill two elective positions.

Residents also will consider a $917,569 budget, up slightly from last year’s, and consider establishing a contingency fund for emergencies Saturday.

Voters will elect town officials Friday and act on a 48-item warrant Saturday at Town Meeting.
