Eight-hour standoff in Whitefield ends in arrest early Saturday
Edward M. Poch, 64, is being held at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset after he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife and a gun at a Whitefield house, leading to a standoff with Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and the Maine State Police.
