HONOLULU, Hawaii — On November 10, 2010, Samantha Brooke and Benjamin Baron-Taltre were married in a civil ceremony in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Samantha is the daughter of Bill and Gail Brooke of Whitefield, Maine. Ben is the son of Katherine Taltre of Tucson, Ariz. and Michael Baron of Hollywood, Calif.
Samantha is a 1999 graduate of Cony High School, graduated from Boston University, then completed her studies attaining a Masters Degree in Marine Policy from the University of Maine Orono.
Ben graduated from Tucson Magnet School, San Francisco State, and the University of Maine Orono. He too received a Masters Degree in Marine Policy.
Samantha and Ben currently are residing in Honolulu, Hawaii. Samantha is employed by the National Oceanographic and Aeronautical Administration out of Silver Spring, Md. Ben is an Environmental Consultant for the National Ocean Service.
Samantha and Ben have traveled the islands of Hawaii during their six-month relocation and plan to return to Maryland in February. A celebration of their marriage will be held in the summer at the family camp on Swan Lake in Swanville, Maine.
