ROCKLAND — More than a dozen two- and three-masted windjammers will be on display in Rockland to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Maine’s windjamming cruise industry.

The Maine Windjammer Association says the ships will take part in the Parade of Sail past the mile-long Rockland breakwater between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday. The windjammers will anchor in the waters off the Sail, Power and Steam Museum, where a free concert featuring maritime folk singer Gordon Bok is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

From 2-4 p.m. Saturday, the Rockland-based windjammers in the Maine Windjammer Association fleet are holding open houses for the public. Visitors can stop by the North End Shipyard and tour the American Eagle, Heritage, Isaac H. Evans, Nathaniel Bowditch and Stephen Taber.
