BANGOR — Police say one person is dead in a workplace accident in Bangor, Maine.
Sgt. Paul Edwards said a worker whose identity has not been released was killed Wednesday afternoon at a site on Odlin Road where workers were installing a natural gas line. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
WABI-TV says the victim was working with a backhoe that tipped over while working for a company out of southern Maine that had been contracted by Bangor Gas.
