FAIRFIELD — The Dance Connection dance team, directed by Jodi Ireland, recently returned from the Dancers Inc. National Dance Competition in Hershey, Pa.
The following teams from the Dance Connection earned awards in the competition:

The Jazz Trio earned high silver; the B Team Jazz earned high silver and first place in the division; the B Team Tap earned high silver; the A Team Tap earned high silver; and the A Team Jazz earned gold and special award.
The National Team members were Ashley Andrews, Taylor Bouchard, Jennifer Gifford, Larissa Hannan, Jenacy Harris, Bailey Hartley, Tricia Hasson, Cailea Higgins, Molly Lybrook, Kim Martin, Briana Oliver, Paxton Picard, Hailey Pollard, Asia Sweet, Tiana Thomas, Ali Tozier and Sarah Zahoransky.
