PORTLAND — Gov. Paul LePage will be on hand for the grand opening of Linda Bean’s newest lobster restaurant, at the Portland International Jetport.
LePage and Bean will be at the airport today for the official opening of the 180-seat Linda Bean’s Maine Lobster Café.
Bean is the granddaughter of L.L. Bean, founder of the Maine-based outdoors outfitter that carries his name. She has seven other restaurants that sell her lobster products.
The new eatery features a menu that includes plenty of lobster dishes — including lobster quesadilla, lobster pasta, lobster rolls and lobster sliders — along with other selections.
LePage and Bean will be joined at the opening by Portland’s mayor, the airport’s director and an official with HMSHost Corp., which will run the restaurant.
