Calcium to be topicof Muskie Center talk

WATERVILLE — Donna Levesque from the University of Maine Co-op Extension will speak on the importance of calcium in the daily diet. The talk will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at Spectrum Generations Muskie Center. Cost is $2.

UMF open house to take place Oct. 15

FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington will host an open house event for prospective students (first year and transfer) and their families. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. Registration will take place in Merrill Hall.
