Police are searching for a Benton man in connection with a string of recent burglaries.

Kory McPhail, 21, is wanted because he failed to surrender to police as previously agreed, said Capt. Daniel Davies of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s Detective David Bucknam has requested two separate arrest warrants charging McPhail with an unspecified number of burglaries, Davies said. Maine State Police also are searching for McPhail in connection with burglaries that agency has investigated, Davies said.

Davies asked that anyone with information on McPhail’s whereabouts to call the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department at 623-3614 or the Central Maine Regional Communications Center at 624-7076.
