AUGUSTA — Kennebec Savings Bank has hired Debra A. Getchell as its vice president and chief financial officer, according to a news release Tuesday.
Getchell, who also will be the bank’s treasurer, has more than 28 years of banking experience, according to a release from Andrew E. Silsby, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Kennebec Savings Bank. Getchell most recently worked for 11 years as chief financial officer for Machias Savings Bank, according to the release.
Getchell has a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting and management from the University of Maine at Machias. She was also a Lordan Scholar at the New England School of Banking.
