Tools stolen from FairPoint office

WATERVILLE — FairPoint Communications was burglarized Tuesday morning, said Waterville Police Sgt. Alan Main.

Police responded to the Industrial Road business at 5:08 a.m. following a report of a break-in.

Main said “hundreds of dollars” in tools were taken from the site. There are no suspects, he said.

2:18 a.m., a pedestrian was checked at Casey’s Redemption on Main Street.

2:35 p.m., a summons was issued after a reported assault on Osborne Court.

6:37 p.m., reported suspicious activity was investigated on Maple Street.

Tuesday at 4:31 a.m., a reported domestic disturbance was investigated on Kennebec Street.

IN OAKLAND, Monday at 10 a.m., a school resource officer located two truant students on Oak Street and returned them to school.

IN FAIRFIELD, Monday at 2:35 p.m., Paul E. Lessard, 62, of North Vassalboro, was summoned on an assault charge.

IN FAIRFIELD, Monday at 2:14 a.m., Michael Eric Bumford, 34, of 13 Kenneth St., Augusta, was arrested on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property.

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Monday at 4 p.m., Andrea Ellen Davidson, 23, of Portland, was arrested on a warrant.

4:23 p.m., Darlene Angel Duran, 21, of El Monte, Calif., was arrested on a dangerous drug charge.

5:29 p.m., Michael Joseph Crawford, 25, of Sanford, was arrested on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5:36 p.m., Peter Glenn Wing, 49, of Bangor, was arrested on a warrant.

Tuesday at 12:41 a.m., Peter L. Tewksbury, 46, of Madison, was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault and assault.

1:42 p.m., Janah M. Stanley, 26, of Skowhegan, was arrested on a warrant.
