State offers meetings on new trapping permit
Maine’s trapping program will be the subject of a series of informational meetings to be held around the state next week by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

WATERVILLE — Hardy Girls Healthy Women recently received a $3,000 donation from The Red Barn, a chicken and seafood family restaurant that has been serving customers in Augusta for more than 30 years. The restaurant recently opened a second location in Winslow.

Swegart admitted to New Hampshire bar
ROME — Daniel Swegart was recently admitted into the New Hampshire Bar. Swegart graduated from St. Anselm College in 2007, New England Law School in 2011 and is an attorney with New Hampshire Public Defenders. Swegart is the son of Robert and Kathryn Swegart of Rome. He resides in Manchester, N.H. with his wife, Kelly, and son, Liam.
