AUGUSTA — Gov. Paul LePage will be on hand when the 71st annual Maine Agricultural Trades Show kicks off in Augusta.

Organizers say more than 5,000 people are expected at the three-day show, which begins today at the Augusta Civic Center.

Hosted by the Department of Agriculture, the show features dozens of lectures, demonstrations and meetings involving agricultural organizations and agencies.

More than 100 exhibits feature the latest agricultural products, equipment and services.

LePage will be the keynote speakers at today’s luncheon.
