WATERVILLE — —Police with guns drawn arrested three men Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of a Home Depot, according to Waterville police Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey.

Rumsey would not release the names of the men arrested in the incident, which happened at the shopping plaza on Waterville Commons Drive just after 2 p.m.

A total of 14 law enforcement officers participated in the arrest. Two firearms that police believe to be stolen were seized during the arrest and the suspect’s vehicle was towed from the parking lot, Rumsey said.

Rumsey said certain information about the arrest is being withheld to avoid compromising an investigation that could result in additional arrests.
