AUGUSTA — Troy Thibodeau of Augusta was among four new game wardens sworn in Monday after completing an 18-week training program at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

Also sworn in as wardens were Emily Bastian of New Gloucester, Clifford Littlefield of Morrill, and Sarah Miller of Newry.

The new four new wardens will soon be attending the Advanced Warden Academy, also held at the academy, for an additional 12 weeks. That program teaches search and rescue, tracking, surveillance, recreational vehicle enforcement and crash investigation, fish and wildlife laws and patrol techniques, public relations, and other skills.

Also on Monday, warden Glenn Annis of Dover Foxcroft was promoted to the rank of sergeant and now supervises the Greenville area.
