AUGUSTA — Buker Community Center, Augusta Recreation Department, has announced its recent cribbage winners.

Winners on Jan. 10 were Theresa Frost and Marie McKenna, who placed first; Dick Frazee and Roland Nault, second; and Jim McCutcheon and Loretta McDougal, third. High hand went to Reggie Dakin, Ray Bolduc and Connie Ochmanski.

Duplicate bridge winners announced

AUGUSTA — The Augusta Duplicate Bridge Club has announced its recent winners.

Winners on Jan. 4 were: north/south — Joanne Matuzas and Marilyn Dumond, Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman, and Frank Shorey and Shirley West; east/west — Nancy Lindgren and Nancy Lenfest, Patricia Damon and Linda Leotsakos, and Ron Cote and Luke Merry.

Winners on Jan. 5 were Tony Frates and Nancy Lenfest, Paul Mitnik and Kathleen Burden, Duane Bishop and Patricia Damon, and Vinal Look and Wilma Bickford.

Dec. 29 winners were Jan Arey and Paul Mitnik, Fred Lavallee and Ben Lund, Anil Goswami and Les Buzzell, and Wilma Bickford and Vinal Look.

Winners on Dec. 28 were: north/south — Fred Letourneau and Les Buzzell, Joann Matuzas and Marilyn Dumond, and Nancy Lindgren and Nancy Lenfest; east/west — Jane Elliott and John Erdman, Shirley West and Frank Shorey, and Ron Cote and Paul Jones.

The club meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates off Edison Drive and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St. All bridge players are welcome and a partner is guaranteed.

Bridge winners on Jan. 5 were Nora Quinn, who placed first; Red Nichols, second; Vinal Look, third; and Vincent Kirschner, fourth.

Jan. 4 game day bridge winners were Gene Murray, who placed first; Ken Morrison, second; and Norma Quinn, third.
