WESTBROOK — Carissa Spence and Marc Chipman were married Sept. 30, 2011, at Parish of St. Anthony of Padua in Westbrook.

The bride is the daughter of Arthur and Joyce Spence of Harrisonville, N.J. The bridegroom is the son of Keith and Lucille Chipman of Vassalboro.

Lindsay Betanski was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Simmler, Laura McMahon and Alison Roberts.

Chris Mitchell was best man. Ushers were Nat Pierce, Micah Bloom and Steve Zabielski.

A reception was held at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland.

Mrs. Chipman is a 2005 graduate of Kingsway Regional High School, Woolwich Township, N.J. and a 2009 graduate of the University of New Haven. She is an Underwriting Assistant at Regional Excess Underwriters in Westbrook.

Mr. Chipman is a 2002 graduate of Erskine Academy, a 2004 graduate of Southern Maine Community College, and a 2007 graduate of the University of New Haven. He is a Claims Adjuster at Acadia Insurance in Westbrook and a Reserve Police Officer for the Town of Scarborough.

The couple took a honeymoon to Disney World and live in Westbrook.
