AUGUSTA — The average price for home heating oil in Maine is up by a penny from a week ago.
The results of a weekly survey released Monday show an average price of $3.71 per gallon, an increase of 1 cent from last week and 14 cents from the beginning of the year.
The Governor’s Office of Energy Independence and Security survey shows western Maine had the lowest price of $3.47 per gallon and central Maine had the highest at $4.01 per gallon.
