VASSALBORO — Peter and Kathleen Parlin of Vassalboro have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Parlin of South Portland to Dr. David Rancourt of South Portland, son of Wayne and Benita Rancourt of Liberty.
Sarah is a 1999 graduate of Erskine Academy. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University of New England in 2003 and her masters of science in Occupational Therapy in 2004. She is an Occupational Therapist at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
David is a 2000 graduate of Winslow High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Holy Cross College in 2004. In 2009 he graduated from the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine. He will complete his residency in Internal Medicine in 2012 and has plans to pursue a fellowship in Cardiology. He is a Doctor in Residence at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
A November 3, 2012, wedding is planned.
