AUGUSTA — Evan Worster scored a Western Maine Class D boys basketball tournament record 51 points in Forest Hills’ 88-37 win over A.R. Gould at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday.

Worster broke the record of 45 set by Ian Nono of A.R. Gould during the 2010 tournament. He tied the Forest Hills’ school record, which he now shares with Josh Kipp.

Matthew Turner added 13 points and Derick Ouellette 11 for No. 2 Forest Hills, which improves to 16-3 and advances to play Valley in the regional semifinals on Wednesday.

A.R. Gould ends the season at 10-8.
