FALMOUTH CAPE COD, Mass. — Kate E. Jurek and Seth E. Karter were married Sept. 24, 2011, on the beach in Falmouth, Mass. The bride is the daughter of Debbi and Steve Jurek of Northfield, Mass. The bridegroom is the son of Vicki Karter of Winthrop, Maine, and Danny and Kelly Karter of Winslow, Maine.
Kelley Ives was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Karter, Kim Acamaitis, Caite McNeill and Loretta Twomey.
Jason Berry was best man. Ushers were Joe Rose, Joel Fernald, Josh Ferran and Peter Bohlin.
The reception was held at the Falmouth Yacht Club in Falmouth, Mass.
Mrs. Karter is a 2001 graduate of Northfield Mount Herman and earned a BS degree in Psychology in 2005 from Roger Williams University. She is a social worker for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.
Mr. Karter is a 1997 graduate of Winslow High School and earned a degree in Sports Medicine in 2001 from Merrimack College. He is co-owner of Sun & Surf Landscaping in South Dennis, Mass.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii in February 2012. They live in South Dennis, Mass.
