WATERVILLE — David and Penny Laplante of Waterville are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Christopher David Laplante to Morghan Nicole Foster, both of Brewer. Morghan is the daughter of Kimberly Foster of Brewer and Steven Foster of Orrington.
Morghan is a 2001 graduate of Brewer High School. She graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a concentration in advertising and a minor in public relations in 2005. She received her Master of Education degree in counseling education in 2010 and is working toward her Certificate of Advanced Study in counseling education. She is employed as an Elementary School Counselor at Weatherbee School in Hampden and is the cheerleading coach at Center Drive School in Orrington.
Christopher is a 2001 graduate of Waterville High School. He graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 2005 and received a Master of Business Administration degree in 2008. He is employed by Verso Paper in Bucksport.
The couple are planning an April 14, 2012, wedding in Brewer.
