HALLOWELL — John and Patricia Scronce of Hallowell have announced the engagement of their daughter, Callie Mae Scronce of Phippsburg, to Bert Wells, of Phippsburg, son of Proctor and Joann Wells of Phippsburg.
Callie is a graduate of Hall-Dale High School and earned undergraduate and masters degrees in Early Childhood Education from UMaine. She is employed at Georgetown Elementary School in Georgetown.
Bert is a graduate of Morse High School and earned an associate degree from Maine Maritime Academy. He is employed at Bath Iron Works in Bath.
A July 29, 2012, wedding is planned at Sebasco Harbor Resort where they met.
