FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College will hold an Open House Thursday, March 29, featuring campus tours, financial aid guidance, program information and more.

The free event will take place 4-6 p.m. in the King Hall Campus Center. The event was originally set for March 1, but was rescheduled due to a winter storm.

“This event offers a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in KVCC to come and see what the College has to offer, ask questions, and meet many of the faculty and staff,” Dean of Students Karen Normandin said in a press release.

Workshops on financial aid and career opportunities will be available. Classrooms and labs on the campus will be open for viewing. The application fee will be waived for all those attending the open house.

The event will provide a chance for anyone considering enrolling for either the summer or fall semesters of 2012 to learn about the programs offered. Potential students can explore the opportunities to transfer credits earned at KVCC to four-year colleges and universities.
