WATERVILLE — KV Connect will host the first of two events in its Leadership Luncheon Series: “The Future of Leadership in the Kennebec Valley,” at noon Friday, March 16, at the REM Center, Main Street. A complimentary luncheon will be offered.

Three young leaders of Waterville, Nikki Desjardins, Patrick Michaud and Chris Gaunce, will participate in a panel discussion about the future of leadership in the Kennebec Valley region.

Waterville Mayor Karen Heck will open the event with her vision for youth leadership in Waterville.

The mission of KV Connect is to connect young people not only to each other but to the many resources the community has to offer. The group seeks to positively impact the community through economic, social and political, and community service initiatives.
