First of all, I want to declare my right of freedom of speech. That is my right under the Constitution. I respect homosexuals and gay persons to theirs.

I read an article about gay marriage in Maine and how it should be voted on by the people of Maine. I am a heterosexual and believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

I am originally from Georgia, in the Baptist Bible Belt, and I was raised that it was Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve.

A Baptist minister once told me in the end, men will be with men and women will be with women. I truly believe that this type of behavior will signal the end of the world as we know it. Same-sex relationships are not normal.

God help us when we accept this as routine. I will never accept this type of relationship. I pray that these people will see the light and change. I don’t believe people are born this way.

Again, this is my freedom of speech, and my freedom of speech gives me the right to say I believe homosexuality is a sin. God help us if states begin to accept this lifestyle as normal.
