BLUE HILL — Devin Wardell and Dr. Brian Cook were married Sept. 4, 2011, at The John Peters Estate in Blue Hill. Rachel Sommer, a college friend of the couple, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Laurie Wardell of Cambridge, Mass. She was presented for marriage by her parents.

The groom is the son of Dr. Thomas and Janice Cook of Wayne. He was escorted to the altar by his mother and maternal grandmother, Nita Mitchell.

Rachel and Robyn Wardell, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Cook, sister of the groom; Rachel Sommers and cousins of the bride, Meredith Rogers and Hanna Wardell. Susie Guzik was flower girl.

Jeffery Boyink was best man. Groomsmen were Nate Clem, David Coriel, Daniel Lake, Matthew and Nick Robinson.

Mrs. Cook is a 2007 graduate of Middlebury College. She was employed by Advantage Performance Group before receiving a 2011 Fulbright Scholarship.

Dr. Cook is a 2002 graduate of Maranacook Community School, 2007 graduate of Middlebury College and 2011 graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine. In July 2012, he will enter the Orthodontic post-graduate dental program at Tufts.

The couple is currently living and traveling in India where Devin is a Fulbright Scholar.
