McCormick past volunteer work has included raising funds for playground equipment, classroom supplies and field trips. She also chaired a PTC and has participated in the Head Start parent group and Policy Council.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Teach Me Something New,” and will focus on the relationship between parents and their children’s teachers.
