AUGUSTA — Regional College Fairs – Education in Augusta, Machias and Presque Isle will be from 9 to 11 a.m. today and Thursday.
The New England Association of Admission Counselors is the sponsor of the spring college fairs, and more than 150 colleges from across the country and abroad will participate. Dozens of other exhibitors will have information on post-secondary opportunities for students and their families. Fairs include Thursday’s at the University of Maine at Augusta, Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Thursday, 9-11 a.m.
There is also one today at the University of Maine at Machias, Frederic A. Reynolds Athletic Center, 9-11 a.m.
Attendance is free and open to the public. Many local high schools will be busing sophomores and juniors to the events located in their area.
