PITTSFIELD — A Hooked on Fishing outside recreational program will be from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9, in Manson Park’s lower area past the parking lot. Children and adults should bring fishing poles and dress for outside weather conditions. Small children should be accompanied by an adult.

Pittsfield police officers and volunteers with fishing experience will be available to assist children learning how to fish or who want to learn some tips. Tackle and worms will be provided as well as fishing poles for those who need them. There will also be free hot dogs and hamburgers served while supplies last.
