UNITY — Unity Barn Raisers 16th annual meeting and 5th annual Promote Yourself event is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Unity Community Center.

There will be live entertainment from the North Woods Balladeer and local band Dog Wants Out, a chicken and rib barbecue and a short presentation about the Waldo County Trails Coalition and some of the Barn Raisers’ other work. There is no entry fee for vendors or attendees, but there is a suggested donation of $7-$15 for the lunch. Proceeds will support Veggies For All, a local hunger relief project.

Unity Market Day, a local farmers’ market will also be set up. Regular market hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday through November.
