I don’t know about you, but I am extremely disappointed by the way things are going in Augusta.
The majority party in the Maine Legislature is taking our state in the wrong direction.
Gov. Paul LePage makes decisions, proposals and vetoes dependent upon his punitive view of the world.
And, Republican lawmakers seem to be willing to go along — silently or otherwise — to collaborate in the punishment of the poor, unemployed, disabled and elderly.
It is for these reason that I support David Bustin for state Senate.
We need to send someone to Augusta who will stand up to the governor, not sit silently by and watch.
Please join me in voting for Bustin for state Senate on Tuesday.
