Gay Grant may be known to some of us for her singing voice, but others know her for speaking up for the kids and for creating opportunity when she was on the SAD 11 School Board.

She helped guide our schools through turbulent times.

Others know her for her articles in the Capital Weekly newspaper, and still others will know her for her fundraising efforts on behalf of groups such as the Boys & Girls Club, Gardiner Area High School and the Randolph food and clothing banks.

I have known her since she attended Sunday school classes at Randolph United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and still comes regularly to sing for our services and fundraisers.

Gay has the integrity and the ability to serve as our representative for Gardiner and Randolph in the Maine House of Representatives.

Please join me voting for Gay in the Democratic primary on Tuesday.

We need a strong voice for the people of this district and Maine.
