MONMOUTH — Monmouth Academy recently presented Class Day awards to members of the class of 2012.

Kevin Anderson received the Trustees’ Award, Top 10 Student Award, ninth highest rank in all subjects, W. Ingraham Scholarship, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Key Club Award and the Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award
Meghan Bates received the Yearbook Award and Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.
Lauren Beaudoin received the Trustees’ Award, Top 10 Student Award, sixth highest rank in all subjects, Dr. Arthur and Mabel T. Chick Award, Yearbook Award, Key Club Award, Betty S. DavisSenior Athletic Award, MVC honorable mention tennis All- Academic Team soccer and tennis.
Angela Bechard received the Trustees’ Award, Top 10 Student Award, seventh highest rank in all subjects, Hank and Lavinia Brown Scholarship, Monmouth American Legion Post 204 Scholarship in memory of Matthew Klopock, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Key Club Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, MVC All- Academic Team soccer and softball.

Ethan Bickford received the Frederick D. Robertson Vocational/Technical Scholarship, Edith, Arland and Brian Blaisdell Scholarship, Key Club Award and Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.

Chelsé Blair-Arsenault received Yearbook Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, and MVC All-Conference cheering.

Kyle Brown received Henry L. Cottrell/Robert (Lanky) Taylor Scholarship, Monmouth American Legion Post 204 Scholarship in Memory of Stanley (Jake) Kanzy, Cochnewagan Trailblazers Snowmobile Club Scholarship, Harold A. Lovejoy Sr. Good Sportsmanship Award; MVC honorable mention tennis, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award and Key Club Award.

Matthew Bryant received the Trustees’ Award, Top 10 Student Award, third highest rank in all subjects, Charles L. Andrews Award — third honor essayist, Lester M. Andrews Award for Highest Average in Mathematics, Vestry Thrift Shop Scholarship, National Merit Finalist, Monmouth Garden Club Award, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Band Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, MVC All-Academic Team cross-country, Nordic skiing and track and Stuart L. Foster Most Coachable Male Athlete Award.

Cameron Copeland received the Trustees’ Award, Top 10 Student Award, second highest rank in all subjects, Charles L. Andrews Award — second honor essayist, Charles L. Andrews Award Excellence in a Foreign Language, Tyler/Grandmaison MELMAC Scholarship, Augusta Lodge of Elks Scholarship, Dr. Arthur and Mabel T. Chick Award, Beryl P. Jordan Award, Monmouth Academy Student Council Scholarship, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Student Council Award, Key Club Award, September Student of the Month, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award and MVC All-Academic Team soccer and basketball.

Foster Memorial Scholarship, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Trustees’ Award for Excellence in Infant and Early Child Development, Most Improved Student in All Subjects, Yearbook Award and Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.  

Julia Destefano received the Trustees’ Award, Excellence in Art, Dr. Arthur and Marjorie Sprague Award, David and Christine Heckman Award, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions and Drama Award.

Kalyn Fullerton received the Floyd Gray Scholarship, Key Club Award and Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.

Meagan Gallop received the Arlene Gardner Award, Yearbook Award, and Monmouth Junior Fire Department Recognition.

Kelsey Goentzel received Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Donald L. Auclair Choral Award, Music Award and Drama Award.

Mitchell Scholarship, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, John Philip Sousa Band Award, Drama Award, Band Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award and  MVC All-Academic Team cross-country.

Emily Lamore received the Hank and Lavinia Brown Scholarship and Rosella Landers Scholarship.
Kourtnee Langlois received the Donald L. Auclair Scholarship, Jeremy Savard Fine Arts Scholarship, Key Club Award and Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.

Adam Meehl received the Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.

Molly Menice received the Connie Ham Dineen Humanitarian Award, Key Club Award, Monmouth Athletic Boosters’ Scholarship, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, MVC soccer and basketball honorable mention, MVC All-Academic Team soccer, basketball and track and Stuart L. Foster Most Coachable Female Athlete Award.

Brian Nugent received the Trustees’ Award, Top 10 Student Award, fifth highest rank in all subjects, Mechanics Savings Bank Scholarship, Vestry Thrift Shop Scholarship, Hank and Lavinia Brown Scholarship, Excellence and Accomplishment in Academic Competitions, Student Council Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award and MVC All-Academic Team cross-country, Nordic skiing and track.

Scott Peacock received the Alberta Butterfield Scholarship, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, MVC All Academic Team Basketball and Drama Award.

Molly Plossay received the George and Evelyn Chick Scholarship, Student Council Award, Drama Award, Key Club Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, MVC All Conference Cheering, honorable mention tennis and All-Academic Team cheering and tennis.
Kimberly Soucy received the Drama Award.

Christopher Taylor received the Key Club Award, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, and MVC honorable mention tennis.

Nicholas Trenholm received the Monmouth Athletic Boosters Scholarship, Monmouth American Legion Post 204 Scholarship in Memory of Clayton Leavitt, Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award, Key Club Award, MVC soccer honorable mention, second team tennis and All-Academic team basketball and tennis.

Katrina Turcotte received the Capital Area Technical Center Student of the Year, Capital Area Technical Center Early Childhood Occupations Scholarship and Doris Greenwood Scholarship.
James Waldron received the W. Ingraham Scholarship and Betty S. Davis Senior Athletic Award.
