WINTHROP — An emergency board of education meeting is set for 6 p.m. Monday in the all-purpose room at the Town Office.

The board is expected to look at further cuts in the budget, which was rejected at the polls June 12.

Gardiner managerto host coffee forum

GARDINER — City Manager Scott Morelli is holding another Coffee with the City Manager from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday at McDonalds in Gardiner.

The topic is public safety and he will be joined by Gardiner Police Chief Jim Toman.

Public forums set on state merger

AUGUSTA — A series of public forums will be held across the state on the merger of the state departments of Agriculture and Conservation.

The first meeting will be held at the Forest Products Council, at 535 Civic Center Drive, on June 26 from 1 to 4 p.m.
