A six-session video and discussion program, Active Parenting Now: Do you ever wonder if there is a better way to handle some of those daily parenting challenges?, is planned for Waterville, Augusta and Skowhegan. The program is for parents and care providers of children ages 5-12 to teach effective discipline techniques and encouragement skills. The fee for a three-week session is $25.
The Waterville class will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursdays, June 28, and July 5, 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2, at Waterville KVCAP’s Duncombe Room, presented by Ruth Lessard.
Deb Rich will present the Augusta class from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and Aug. 6 in Augusta KVCAP’s Board Room.
The Skowhegan class, presented by Ruth Lessard, will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesdays, July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1, 8, 15, at KVCAP’s Marti Stevens Room.
