HALLOWELL — Jonathan M. Leugers recently was presented the Maine Chiefs of Police Memorial Scholarship by Police Chief Scott MacMaster and congratulated by RSU 2 Board of Directors.

The scholarship is sponsored in memory of Thomas J. Landers and Charles H. Jackson for years of service to law enforcement.

Leugers, a 2012 graduate of Hall-Dale High School, also is a 2012 Certificate of Completion recipient of Law Enforcement Class at Capital Area Technical Center, and will attend Husson University, Bangor, in the fall, majoring in criminal justice.

Leugers is the son of Larry and Debbi Leugers, of Hallowell.
