WINTHROP — Applications are being accepted by the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce for the 25th annual Winthrop Sidewalk Art Festival set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18.
The event will be held rain or shine.
The art festival is complemented by many other activities held in Winthrop, including the library book sale, church bake sales and luncheons, and numerous specials offered by local merchants.
Applications are being accepted for this juried event from artists who work in a variety of media. In addition to traditional categories, such as oils, watercolors and pottery, in recent years the media categories have been expanded to include fabric, leather, metal, wood, and more. Please refer to the application form for more detailed information about the media categories.
