SKOWHEGAN — Somerset County U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced that the Somerset County Farm Service Agency office will partner with the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Somerset County Soil and Water Conservation District to participate in the 4th annual Feds Feed Families Food Drive.
The Drive is a national effort that started in 2009 to help food banks and pantries stay stocked during the summer months, according to a news release.
The food drive will run through Aug. 31.
If interested in joining the national effort to fight hunger, a donation drop box is at the Somerset County USDA Service Center, 12 High St.
