WATERVILLE — Arooskis, an adult outdoor program run by Healthy Hometowns, will hold a mountain bike session at 5:30 p.m. today at the Quarry Road Recreation Area. Participants may bring their own bicycles, though equipment will also be available to use for those that do not own one or wish to try something new.

Healthy Hometowns staff and local volunteers will lead the session that will include basic instruction for beginner mountain bikers, as well as more challenging terrain for intermediate riders, according to a news release. All abilities are welcome.

The Arooskis program will continue in August and September, including an evening of kayaking. Sessions are open to all adults 18 and older who are interested in getting outside and being active. The cost is $10 per session or $30 for the summer season, which includes an Arooskis T-shirt.
