Farmers across Maine open their operations to the public on Sunday for Open Farm Day. The event is a chance for visitors to learn about farm life and products. Franklin County

Black Acres Farm

123 Black Road, Wilton

Tours include grass-fed beef, pasture-raised Hereford, hogs, maple-syrup facilities and honey production.

Marble Family Farms

853 Holley Road, Farmington

Displays include belted Galloways, chickens in a “chicken tractor,” sheep and lambs, greenhouses, organic crops, flower gardens as well as demonstrations on grazing and fencing.
