WINTHROP — The Winthrop Congregational Church and eWaste Recycling Solutions will collect old and broken electronics for recycling from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 in the Winthrop Grade School parking lot on Highland Avenue.

Accepted items include televisions, central processing units, monitors, copiers, printers and ink cartridges, fax machines, scanners, laptops, stereos, DVD players, CD players, cell phones, telephones, two-way radios, answering machines, remote controls, VCRs, speakers, digital cameras, electric typewriters, game systems, medical electronics, microwaves and more.

Major appliances, items containing freon or mercury and fluorescent bulbs will not be accepted.

All are welcome; donations will be accepted.
