WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library will host the Incredible Edible Book Fair, a celebration of books, artistry food and fun.

Participants should use edible materials to create an entry that somehow relates to a book title of their choice. Entries can look like a book, be inspired by a book or be a pun on a book title, e.g. “Quiche of the Spider Woman” or “Anne of Green Bagels.”

Prizes will be awarded by a panel of judges for: Best Children’s Book, Best Non-Cake Entry, Best Non-Fiction Book, Best Pun, and Best Fiction Book. Viewers can vote for their favorite entry for the People’s Choice award.

There is no fee, but an entry form is required. Forms are available at watervillelibrary.org, or can be picked up at the Library. An entry form should accompany each submission

If no refrigeration is needed, edible books can be dropped off 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Library. Otherwise, drop off 8-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Library. Late entries may not be accepted.
