Boat parade planned for Friday evening
INDUSTRY — The Clearwater Lake Improvement Association will hold its boat parade at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Anyone who is interested in participating or watching, the parade forms at the head of the lake. A non-motorized public paddle will be at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at the head of Clearwater Lake.

Volunteer training to begin July 10
SKOWHEGAN — Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County Inc. training for volunteers will begin Tuesday, July 10, in Madison at the United Baptist Church. The training will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks. The last class is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 2.
