PITTSFIELD — Children up to five years old can explore the night sky during story time at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Pittsfield Public Library. Book Buddies for ages six-12 will meet for buddy reading and activities from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
MCI student earns chamber scholarship
PALMYRA — Paula Arias recently received the Sebasticook Valley Chamber Scholarship. Arias plans to attend Union University in Jackson, Tenn. to major in education mathematics. She was selected from 49 applicants for the annual $1,000 scholarship awarded to a Sebasticook Valley student attending MCI, Nokomis, Dexter Regional, Central or Bangor Christian.
