Meredith Wurpel is reflected in the water-covered concrete as she sprays down the recently poured pad at Alumni Field on Wednesday evening in Augusta.
She said that the fresh concrete is kept damp while it cures to prevent cracking.
New bleachers will be installed there as part of ongoing renovations at the athletic field beside Cony High School.
